Job Title: Campus Student Laborer
Reports To: Executive Director of Physical Plant
Classification: Non-Exempt Seasonal Part-Time
Availability: Flex hours between 8-5; some nights and weekends
Job Summary:
Performs work required in the care, maintenance, cleaning and housekeeping of college buildings and campus in accordance with established practices and procedures. Responsible for performing duties associated with setups and deliveries for special events in and around all campus buildings. Performs other duties as assigned by the Management staff.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Set-up for special events, when needed.
- Assist with campus office moves and clean up.
- Help with keeping campus free from debris and trash as assigned.
- Closely follows directions of assigned supervisor which could change on a regular basis.
- Cares for the college's property upon assignment by cutting grass, racking leaves, pulling and discarding weeds, or shoveling and removing snow.
- Performs any unskilled job at the campus.
- Reports any issues to supervisor or higher-level employee.
- Performs other related duties as assigned
