Job Description
PEMCCO is seeking a Capital Program Technician / Document Control & Project Coordinator to provide technical, administrative, and project coordination support for capital improvement projects. This role supports project managers and engineering teams with document control, configuration management, invoicing support, meeting coordination, schedule and budget tracking, and organized reporting to enable efficient project delivery and effective agency coordination.

In support of transit clients, our teams provide multidisciplinary support across trackwork engineering programs, including field inspection, data analytics, construction coordination, and capital program support functions. We specialize in bridging engineering, operations, and technology to improve system performance and lifecycle outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain project document control, file structures, version tracking, transmittal discipline, and organized recordkeeping across work orders and assignments.
- Support configuration management and ProjectWise-related coordination where required.
- Assist with invoicing support packages, contractor invoice review materials, and associated documentation tracking.
- Coordinate meeting logistics, agendas, materials, note capture, action-item follow-up, and recurring status updates.
- Support schedule review, milestone tracking, and status reporting activities under the direction of project leadership.
- Assist with budget and cash-flow support documentation and compilation of progress metrics.
- Prepare recurring reports, presentation materials, trackers, and management-facing summaries supporting engineering and capital program decision-making.
- Support procurement coordination, internal routing, and document assembly for project activities.
- Assist project teams in preparing for coordination meetings with MTA leadership and external stakeholders as needed.
- Maintain organized records of decisions, deliverables, and correspondence to support delivery continuity and auditability.

Required Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Engineering Technology, Project Management, or related field.
- Minimum three (3)+ years of experience in project coordination, document control, or capital program support.
- Demonstrated experience supporting technical, engineering, transportation, or construction project teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with ProjectWise or similar document management systems.
- Experience supporting engineering, transportation, or construction projects.
- Familiarity with agency reporting environments and public-sector documentation practices.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and maintain highly organized project records.
- Ability to obtain project systems access and site credentials where required.

Compensation
- $30 - $54 per hour, depending on Experience, Systems Experience, and Applicable Certifications.
