Job Description

Car Wash AttendantPosition: Car wash attendant

Location: 8500 E. 21st Street, Indianapolis, IN 46219Duration: 6 + months

Work schedule is 8-4:30 pm with 1 hour unpaid lunch. Work week is 37.5 hours.Fleet maintenance support by routinely cleaning the exterior/interior of vehicles issued by Field Support Services (FSS).Hand-wash the exterior of all Field Support Services (FSS) pool cars on an as-needed basis, or at least twice a month.Clean the interior of all FSS pool cars at least once a month.On a quarterly basis, hand-wax all FSS pool cars.Assist FSS Installation in the preparation of FSS new/re-issue commissions for issuance. On an as-needed basis, hand-wash the dirt and grime collected on new/re-issued cars that have been sitting on the lot for an extended time. This process is necessary in an attempt to protect the State Police’s investment.Required skills:High School diploma or GED required
