Job Description
A Cardiac EP Technologist (Electrophysiology Tech) is needed in Fort Walton Beach, FL at a 267-bed hospital offering open-heart surgery, an Advanced Primary Stroke Center, a Cancer Care Center, a main emergency room, a dedicated pediatric ER, and two freestanding ERs.The role. Working under general supervision, the EP Technologist prepares patients and equipment and assists physicians in performing electrophysiology procedures across an adult to geriatric patient population. The position requires operating specialized EP equipment accurately and safely, maintaining procedural readiness throughout each case, and supporting the clinical team in delivering technically precise care during complex cardiac interventions.What we're looking for.
- Associate Degree
- Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES), or Registered Radiographer (ARRT) with a Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist license
- 1 year of recent acute care EP Tech experience required; new graduates will also be considered
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
