Job Description

ATC West Healthcare Services is seeking a Locum Interventional Cardiologist to provide inpatient, clinic, and call coverage as part of an established cardiology team. The physician will see adult patients in both clinical and hospital settings, with shared call responsibilities and on-site support from other interventional cardiologists. This role offers a balanced mix of procedural care, clinic visits, and call coverage.

Dates / Schedule

  • Coverage Dates: TBD

  • Clinic Schedule: Monday Friday, 9:00 AM 4:30 PM

  • Call:

    • Weekday and weekday night call

    • Weekend call

    • All call shared in rotation with other providers

Job Details & Responsibilities

  • Provide interventional cardiology services across inpatient, clinic, and call settings

  • See an average of clinic patients per day

  • Collaborate with other interventional cardiologists on-site during coverage

  • Manage adult patient population only

  • Utilize Cerner EMR (transitioning to Epic in June 2026)

  • Participate in shared call rotation for weekdays, nights, and weekends

  • Credentialing timeframe estimated at days (potentially shorter with an active Iowa license)

Required Skills & Qualifications

Licensure & Certification:

  • Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology

  • Active Iowa medical license (IMLC not accepted)

  • BLS and ACLS certifications

Additional Requirements:

  • Self-Query NPDB report required at time of presentation
