About the Clinician's Workday

The cardiothoracic surgeon will provide comprehensive 24-hour call coverage managing CABG and valve cases as well as thoracic coverage for a level 2 trauma center. The position requires board certification in cardiothoracic surgery with continuous availability for emergency cases and surgical interventions. Daily responsibilities include performing complex surgical procedures, conducting patient rounds, managing postoperative complications, and coordinating care with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
