Overview:

Care Delivery Finance Consultant

The Finance Consultant is responsible for financial, analytical, and business management consulting support for assigned departments or business units. This position supports analysis of monthly revenue and expense statement, revenue analysis, product line/case mix analysis, budget assistance, benchmarking, and new program evaluations

Provides financial, analytical and business management consulting support for a group of assigned departments or business units. Areas of support include: analysis of monthly revenue and expense statements, revenue analysis, product line/case mix analysis, budget assistance, benchmarking, new program evaluations and feasibilities.

This is an on-site position located at 1300 Sentara Park

Education

  • Bachelor Level Degree (Finance or Business Administration )
  • Masters Degree ( MBA or MHA) preferred

Certification/Licensure

  • No specific certification or licensure requirements

Experience

  • Four (4) years Finance experience required
  • One ( 1) year Healthcare experience required
  • Ability to interact in person with Physicians, Nurses, Administrative Staff for all 12 Sentara Hospitals, Ambulatory and Post Acute Care
  • Critical Thinking skills/problem solving
  • Strong communication skills
