What You'll Do
As a Caregiver, you'll provide non-medical support to seniors and other individuals who need assistance at home. Responsibilities may include:
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Assisting with activities of daily living
- Meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Medication reminders
- Assistance with mobility and transfers, as permitted by your training
- Providing transportation or accompaniment to appointments and errands when applicable
- Following each client's individualized care plan
- Communicating client needs and concerns to the office
- Maintaining a safe, respectful, and comfortable environment for clients
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate is:
- Compassionate and genuinely enjoys helping others
- Dependable and punctual
- Patient, respectful, and professional
- Comfortable working independently in clients' homes
- A strong communicator
- Able to follow care plans and company policies
- Experienced in senior care, home care, CNA work, or personal care preferred, but we welcome qualified applicants with a strong desire to provide excellent care
Qualifications
- Previous caregiving, home care, CNA, PCA, HHA, or related experience preferred
- Must be able to pass required background and employment screenings
- Reliable transportation is preferred for applicable assignments
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and the Always Best Care team
