Responsibilities:
- Utilize EVV (Electronic Visit Verification) for each shift.
- Provide compassionate and professional care to clients in their homes.
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Monitor and document client health, reporting any changes to the care team.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Transport clients to appointments or errands (if applicable).
- Provide medication reminders to ensure client health and safety.
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- For CNA positions: current and valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the state of Delaware.
- Must have a valid driver's license, clean driving record, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance.
- Paid for by Neighborly Home Care: Must pass a Criminal Background Check, Tuberculosis test, a Drug test and a Work Physical.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in caregiving or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, compassionate, and committed to providing high-quality care.
