Caregivers Needed In Fullerton And Anaheim, CA

Description of the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Attendant (PCA)/Caregiver to join our growing team at Always Best Care Senior Services- Servicing Fullerton, Anaheim and surrounding areas. The PCA provides in-home assistance and support to our clients in their daily activities, promoting their independence and well-being. We serve Fullerton, Anaheim, Yorba Linda, Corona and Chino CA as well as the surrounding areas in Riverside and Orange counties. Our office is based in Corona. This is a part-time position with the possibility of full-time shifts as the program grows.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Providing medication reminders and assistance with medication management.
• Preparing and serving meals according to dietary restrictions.
• Assisting with mobility and transferring clients.
• Ensuring a clean and safe environment for clients.
• Engaging in conversation and providing companionship to clients.
• Monitoring and reporting any changes in client's condition to the appropriate supervisor.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a PCA or similar role.
• Valid Home Care Aide (HCA) registration.
• Two references required.
• Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with clients.
• Physical stamina and strength to perform the duties of the role.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Proof of a TB test taken within the last year showing clear results.
• CNA, HHA and First Aid certifications as well as BLS/CPR training a plus.
