As a Carpenter Apprentice at Sid Grinker Restoration Inc., you will work alongside skilled carpenters to gain hands-on experience in the repair, restoration, and preservation of various properties. You will learn to perform essential carpentry tasks while adhering to high safety standards and time management expectations. Requirements

• Assist in performing skilled carpentry tasks related to property repairs, including framing, trim work, cabinetry, and general carpentry restoration.
• Learn and apply carpentry techniques in the repair and restoration of commercial and residential properties damaged by water, fire, and other disasters.
• Support the restoration team in emergency on-call situations, following safety protocols and working efficiently to ensure projects are completed on time and to high standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment and ensure tools and materials are properly stored.
• Gain exposure to various restoration processes and techniques, under the supervision of senior carpenters.
• Contribute to maintaining a high level of craftsmanship in all completed projects.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong interest in carpentry and restoration work.
• Ability to work in a team environment and take direction from experienced carpenters.
• Strong attention to detail and proactive work ethic.
• Willingness to learn, grow, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Good physical condition and ability to perform labor-intensive tasks.
• Basic knowledge of tools and equipment used in carpentry is a plus.
• Previous experience in construction or carpentry (even as a volunteer or in school projects) is preferred but not required.
