Job Description

Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking a Commercial Carpenter or Carpenter Apprentice for a long-term role with a commercial construction company located in Hillsboro, OR. The person in this position will perform work at companies like Nike and Intel.

PAY: $24-30/hr 

Commercial Carpenter Responsibilities:

  • Some Renovation tasks - general tenant improvement.

  • Metal framing

  • Drywall patch work and sheet rock hanging

  • Painting

  • Hand and power tool operation

  • Lifting up to 50 pounds on a regular basis

  • Employees will report to main site in the morning for dispatch and will either drive a company vehicle or ride in a company truck to sites

Commercial Carpenter Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of carpentry experience

  • Sheetrock experience including taping and hanging is a must.

  • 1+ year of painting/drywall

  • Must have own hand tools

  • Ability to pass a ten year background check (no felonies)

  • Must be able to pass a UA drug screen (including THC)

  • Driver's license and ability to be insured to drive a company vehicle preferred
