Job Description
Family Service Rochester is seeking a full-time case manager within our FATHER Project program to deliver services targeted toward fathers in overcoming the barriers that prevent them from supporting their children economically and emotionally. The primary goal of the FATHER Project program is to enhance parent self-sufficiency, reduce risk factors for children and families, and seek to enhance child and family safety, well-being and stability.

This position requires a bachelor’s degree in social work or related field. Knowledge of career development, family centered case management, social work principles, and related experience with families and communities of color is required. In addition, successful candidates will possess effective communication and collaborative skills, computer literacy, valid driver’s license and dependable transportation. Preference will be given to those who are bilingual in English and Spanish as well as those who hold a Minnesota Social Work License or are eligible for licensure. - Complete thorough assessment of needs and develop fatherhood plans in collaboration with the participant.
- Provide comprehensive support through home visits, community resource navigation, collaboration with community service providers, and career development services designed to optimize employment outcomes.
- Co-facilitates weekly peer support and education groups for participants.
