Cash Management Clerk

Casey Auto Group is seeking a Cash Management Clerk to join our accounting team!

Are you an experiencedaccounting professionalwith an eagle eye for detail? Do you pride yourself on your ability to reconcile, balance, and manage high-volume daily transactions with flawless accuracy?

We are seeking a dedicated Cash Management Clerk to be the operational center for our multi-dealership financial flow. This is a crucial, full-time role that requires speed, precision, and a strong accounting foundation to ensure the daily financial health of our organization.

You will be responsible for a comprehensive range of accounting duties, acting as the daily clearinghouse for significant transactions that keep our business running smoothly.

Responsibilities Include:

• Daily Deposit Processing: Obtain, process, and post all daily parts, service, and showroom deposits, ensuring cash sale accounts are balanced to zero on a daily basis.
• Floor Plan Oversight: Accuratelyobtain, enter, and verify all data for floor plan setups, payoffs, and curtailments, cross-checking payments against bank accounts via online access daily.
• Vehicle Inventory Control: Stock in new and used vehicles, including lease turn-ins, street buys, and wholesale purchases, maintaining impeccable inventory records.
• Contract & Warranty Administration: Process and post Dealer Exchanges (DX), and manage all submissions and cancellations for extended warranty, GAP, and insurance products.
• Reporting & Review: Review various reports and schedules, promptly escalating any problems to the General Manager, Office Manager, and Controller.

Required Qualifications:

• Accounting experience is absolutely necessary.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a strong focus on balancing and accuracy.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, time-sensitive accounting tasks efficiently.
• Proficiency with computer systems and data entry.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous automotive accounting experience is a significant advantage.
• Familiarity with dealership floor plan management or vehicle stocking processes.
