Cashier Position - Part-Time

Main Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly as they enter and leave the store
Manage transactions with a cash register and ensure accuracy
Balance the cash register at the end of your shift
Scan goods and confirm pricing and quantities
Accept various payment methods (cash, credit, check)
Provide change and receipts to customers
Handle coupons, vouchers, and gift cards
Process returns and refunds, addressing customer complaints
Bag and wrap goods securely for customers
Upsell and cross-sell products when appropriate

Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Experience with POS systems and cash registers
Basic computer knowledge
Strong math skills
Excellent communication abilities
Capability to resolve complaints effectively

Schedule

Part-time position with weekend availability
8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday
On-site work at our local store
