Job Description
Job Title: Cashier / Floor AttendantLocation: Oxnard, CAEmployment Type: Full-Time / Part-TimePay: $16.90/hour
Job Summary
- Provide excellent customer service while supporting daily store operations
- Operate the cash register and assist customers with purchases
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming sales floor
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide friendly assistance throughout the store
- Operate the cash register efficiently, handle transactions, and issue receipts
- Maintain the sales floor by organizing merchandise, restocking shelves, and arranging displays
- Assist with pricing, tagging, and processing donations
- Support store team members with general store operations and special projects
- Ensure compliance with store policies and safety standards
Qualifications
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light physical tasks
- Dependable, friendly, and team-oriented
Physical Requirements
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching
- Ability to lift up to 25–30 lbs
- Comfortable moving merchandise and assisting customers on the floor
