We look for team members who bring energy, reliability, and pride to their work every day.What You’ll DoAs a Cashier, you’ll help create a welcoming and efficient shopping experience for every customer.You’ll assist with transactions, answer customer questions, maintain a clean checkout area, and help ensure every customer leaves satisfied.Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service

Greet customers entering and leaving the store with a friendly attitude
Provide excellent customer service in person and over the phone
Help customers with questions and direct them to products or departments

Checkout & Transactions

Process transactions accurately using cash, credit/debit cards, and charge accounts
Issue receipts, refunds, and charge tickets
Accurately count and return change
Verify checks and monitor for counterfeit cash

Store Support

Maintain clean and organized checkout and front-end areas
Support store appearance and operational efficiency
Report security or loss prevention concerns to management

Sales Support

Ask open-ended questions to better understand customer needs
Promote a positive shopping experience that supports customer satisfaction

What We’re Looking ForWe’re looking for dependable, positive individuals who enjoy helping customers and working in a fast-paced retail environment.Required Qualifications

Experience as a retail cashier or similar customer service role
Basic PC and POS system knowledge
Good math and cash-handling skills
Strong communication and customer service abilities
Customer satisfaction-focused mindset

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Paladin POS systems
Basic knowledge of yard products or hardscape materials

Physical Requirements

Standing for most of the shift
Some lifting required
