The cashier will be responsible for greeting on-site guests, overseeing and maintaining a clean environment for customers, while ensuring and providing exceptional customer interaction.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome on-site guests in a professional, positive manner, determine nature of business, and direct guests to appropriate personnel
  • Provide general administrative and clerical support, as instructed
  • Keep the snack area clean, neat, and restocked at all times
  • Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail
  • Work cooperatively with the sales and other internal teams
  • Communicate with callers and visitors in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner
  • Assist with cashier operations and proper procedures 
  • Perform other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain professional appearance in accordance with employee handbook
  • Maintain a clean and professional work environment
  • Expected to arrive to work on time and work required schedule
  • Interact effectively with co-workers

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Work experience within the related duties assigned; dealership experience preferred  
  • Demonstrates knowledge in the area of duties assigned   
  • Excellent listening/communication skills
  • Customer focus and self-motivated with time management and organizational skills

EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is rarely expected to travel, however the normal day-to-day operations will be conducted in a professional office dealership setting. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
