Cashier/Stocker

Family-owned business looking to hire a part-time cashier and stocker clerk. We seek a friendly and reliable cashier and stocker clerk to join our team and provide excellent customer service. The Cashier/Stocker Clerk will be responsible for processing transactions, handling cash and credit card payments, and providing high customer service while ensuring the retail store is appropriately stocked. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Familiarity with POS system and Lottery a plus 

• Process transactions, including handling cash and credit card payments accurately

• Provide excellent customer service, including answering questions and assisting customers with their purchases

• Maintain a clean and organized retail store floor and storage area

• Responsible for daily shelf and retail store floor stocking and maintenance 

• Previous industry experience and knowledge of wine/beer/liquor is a plus

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, as well as work flexible hours. Some evenings, weekends and holiday shifts are required.

• Spanish fluency a plus

• Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures

• Able to deliver exceptional and positive customer service in a fast-paced environment

• Physically able to lift and carry 50lbs for stocking as required, maneuver tight spaces, and be on your feet for long periods.
