WHO ARE WE:

The Category Management team drives category growth at the intersection of shopper insight, category strategy, and retail execution. We partner closely with customer teams and cross-functional stakeholders to build categories, shape assortments and shelving, and translate insight into action that delivers mutual growth.We are hiring a Category Management Manager – Target, Category Leadership to serve as the primary Category Management lead for Home Care North America at Target. This role owns day-to-day category management responsibilities in addition to providing category leadership within the Unilever enterprise through strong commercial judgment, insight-driven recommendations, and trusted customer partnership.________________________________________Who You Are & What You’ll DoYou are a Category Management leader.You bring strong executional fundamentals paired with the ability to step back, identify patterns, and focus on the actions that will have the greatest impact.You are a trusted category partner to the retailer.You build credibility through deep category expertise, consistent follow-through, and a clear understanding of retailer priorities - earning the right to influence both tactical execution and longer-term category direction.You are insight-driven and decision-oriented.You use data and category management tools to create clear, compelling narratives that support decisions and drive action.You are comfortable creating new paths.You can make informed recommendations with imperfect information and know when insights should be elevated beyond the account.________________________________________

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Own Category Management responsibilities for Green Home Care at Target, including assortment, shelving, and ongoing category performance management.• Develop and implement actionable category growth strategies by integrating category, shopper, and performance insights that support the customer and internal teams.• Serve as a trusted category leader to the merchant and customer stakeholders, shaping both near-term execution and longer-term category direction.• Maintain and evolve category management reporting to ensure insights are focused, decision-oriented, and commercially relevant.• Identify emerging trends, risks, and opportunities within the customer, and elevate insights with implications beyond the account to inform broader category and cross-functional thinking.• Collaborate closely with internal partners like Category Strategy, Operations and Planning and Brand to align customer execution with overall category strategy and business priorities.________________________________________

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strategy & Analytics Capabilities• 8+ years of experience in Category Management, Analytics, or Strategy within a CPG or retail environment.• Strong experience working with syndicated, shopper, and customer data to support category recommendations and decisions• Solid understanding of category growth drivers and how they translate into retail execution• Ability to distill complex data into clear, concise storytelling tailored to multiple audiences• Experience with JDA / Space Planning tools a plus• ________________________________________• Collaboration & Relationship Skills• Experience working directly with retail customers and cross-functional partners• Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to lead focused, outcome-driven discussions• Comfort balancing retailer priorities with broader business objectives• ________________________________________• Leadership Mindset• A proactive, ownership-oriented approach to work.• Willingness to challenge assumptions constructively in pursuit of better outcomes.• Commitment to inclusive collaboration, integrity, and continuous learning.

Pay: The pay range for this position is $103,000 to $154,400. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that areutilizedin making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs. 

Bonus: This position is bonus eligible. 

Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
