Job Requirements

Education Requirements: Associate's degree in Radiology, Cardiovascular Technology, or related field
Certifications Requirements: - Active BLS (AHA) - Active ACLS (AHA) - ARRT or RTR certification
Experience Requirements: - At least 2 years of Cath Lab experience- Previous EPIC charting experience- Knowledge of aseptic techniques and cardiac procedures
Other Requirements: - Valid IL state license (IEMA) - Ability to interpret EKG and cardiac rhythms- Familiarity with IABP/Impella devices and sheath management

Job Responsibilities

Provide advanced cardiac and radiological care in the Cath Lab, ensuring safe and effective procedures.
Operate and maintain specialized equipment including Philips Fluoro machines, Zoll defibrillators, and Merge Hemodynamics systems.
Assist physicians with patient positioning, sheath pulls, and line securement to adhere to aseptic techniques.
Interpret EKGs and cardiac rhythms for accurate assessment during procedures.
Document procedures accurately in EPIC charting system and ensure compliance with hospital protocols.
