Cath Lab Tech

Our primary function is to offer continuous nursing, medical, and other health and social services on a 24-hour basis, under physician directed care and RN supervision.

Hourly pay is negotiable based on experience. We offer competitive market pay and opportunities for bonus depending on great work performance (bonuses only apply for Full Time).

Job Summary

Assists with scrubbing and monitoring diagnostic and interventional procedures, electro physiological studies, and pacemaker insertions. Assists in setting up and breaking down equipment. Performs thermodynamic calculations for patient reports. Trained in treating patients with adult cardiac diseases. Serves as key member of the Cath Lab team independently functioning in the performance of diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization, hemodynamic monitoring, and insertion of implantable devices with minimal supervision.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (including required licenses/certifications, education and job knowledge/experience). Requires one of the following:

(ARRT-R) Radiography, or CCT Certified Cardiographic Technician
(RCIS) Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist
(RDCS)Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer
State Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist
Certified Surgical Technologist
Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology
- Radiologic Technology
- Sonography

Current BLS Card and Current ACLS Card
Effective oral and written communication skills in the English language
Visual and hearing senses adequate to assess/detect human physiologic changes
Ability to effectively perform in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

An ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, stressful environment.

Must be able to pass Background and Drug Test screenings.
