Join our team as a Cath Lab Tech Radiology / Cardiology and make a significant impact in advanced cardiovascular procedures. We are seeking experienced professionals to support complex structural heart interventions in a fast-paced, state-of-the-art facility. This is an excellent opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and a dedicated team committed to excellence in patient care.
Key responsibilities include performing and assisting with TAVR, MitraClip, CTO, Watchman procedures, and other complex cath lab interventions. Candidates must have recent structural heart scrub experience and demonstrate proficiency in procedures such as balloon angioplasty, PCI, stent placements, thrombectomy, Impella insertion, and heart catheterizations. Additional responsibilities include monitoring, assisting with PA lines and telemetry, and ensuring patient safety throughout procedures. The role involves on-site support during day shifts and requires flexibility for callback and weekend call duties.
We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 2 years of cath lab experience, specifically in structural heart procedures within the past 6 months. Experience with EPIC and MAC Lab systems is preferred. Necessary certifications include ACLS and BLS; candidates must hold an RCIS or ARRT credential. Skills such as circulating, IV starts, and conscious sedation are highly valued.
Preferred candidates will also possess experience in Watchman procedures, septal closures, Ablations, coil embolizations, and rhythm interpretation. Knowledge of EKG settings and interpretation enhances your candidacy.
Position details include working four 10-hour days from 07:00 to 17:30, Monday through Friday, with a target of 40 hours weekly. Call and weekend responsibilities are required, with approximately 9-11 days of callback over a 6-week cycle. The unit primarily operates EPIC and MAC Lab systems, and floating support to other labs will be rare but possible.
The hourly pay rate for this role is $63.77. Benefits include competitive pay packages, weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive medical coverage, a robust referral bonus program, paid sick time, licensure/certification reimbursement, and travel and incidentals as applicable. The initial start date is anticipated to be on 05/13/2026, but may vary based on training schedules and orientation completion. Candidates must be fully available for orientation and potential schedule adjustments, including starting on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday of the first week.
