Catholic Religious Education (RE) Coordinator

Location: F.E. Warren Air Force Base, WyomingEmployment Type: Contract / Part-Time (Approximately 25 hours per week)Key Tasks / Responsibilities:

Manage and coordinate the Catholic Religious Education (RE) program for youth and adults.
Plan and conduct religious education classes, sacramental preparation, and special events.
Recruit, train, and supervise catechists and RE volunteers.
Maintain student enrollment, attendance records, and program documentation.
Ensure volunteers complete required orientation, training, and background checks.
Select and coordinate religious education curriculum with chapel leadership.
Prepare program publicity and communications for chapel publications.
Attend chapel staff meetings and Catholic Community Advisory Council meetings.
Coordinate facility reservations and ensure classrooms are prepared and secured.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (required).
At least two years of experience with Catholic programs or religious education.
Archdiocese for the Military Services (AMS) certification or valid Catechist Certificate.
Experience working with volunteer-based ministry or educational programs.
Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe software.
