Position Overview:

As a CDCA, you will provide chemical dependency counseling, crisis intervention, and chemical dependency education to youth and families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and staff.
• Provide counseling services and reports clients concerns and problems to certified counselors and the multi-disciplinary treatment team for possible adjustments to individuals treatment plans/continuing care plans.
• Performs program development and other counseling-related activities as needed.
• Provides case management services to ensure problems identified in the assessment are resolved or appropriately addressed.
• The CDCA will also facilitate groups and document client interactions, reactions, and behavior in progress notes.
• Maintain patient records and assist with charting.
• Collaborate with various departments to streamline workflows.

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

• CDCA certification
• BLS CPR Certification
• Chemical Dependency or case management work experience preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit for extended periods and perform tasks requiring finger dexterity.
