Job Description

Hiring Area: Jackson, MSFreight Type: Mostly no-touch OTR dry van freight

Home Time: Every other weekend with a full 48-hour reset

Planned dispatch and repeat freight lanes help drivers spend more time driving and less time waiting for the next assignment.Freight NetworkDrivers haul mostly no-touch dry van freight through established regional and interstate customer lanes. Freight consists of a combination of drop-and-hook and live load deliveries, with the majority of shipments requiring no driver unloading. EquipmentDrivers operate 2021 and newer Freightliner and Kenworth tractors equipped with automatic transmissions. Many trucks include APUs, power inverters, and refrigerator space to improve comfort during extended trips. Equipment is maintained through a company-supported maintenance program focused on minimizing downtime and keeping drivers moving.Pay & ScheduleDrivers on this account typically earn between $1,300 and $1,450 per week depending on experience, miles, and freight flow. Detention pay is available for qualifying delays. After six months, benefits include medical, dental, vision coverage, paid time off, and a 401(k) retirement plan.The fleet operates on a 12-day schedule followed by a full 48-hour reset at home every other weekend. Approved drivers may take their assigned truck home during resets or utilize a company parking location if preferred.CDL-A Driver RequirementsValid Class A CDLMinimum 3 months of recent tractor-trailer experience
