AURORA, CO – LOCAL

HOME DAILY | DEDICATED REFRIGERATED GROCERY FREIGHT

The Aurora local fleet is designed for drivers who want daily home time while operating dedicated grocery freight.

• Home daily
• Dedicated grocery account
• Refrigerated trailer operation
• Multiple delivery stops
• Local Colorado driving
• 24/7 operation
• 6 days on / 2 days off
• Up to approximately 70 hours per week when required
• Nights, evenings and early mornings may be required
• Weekends and holidays may be required
• Start times may change based on freight and customer requirements

IMPORTANT

This is a high-volume grocery operation, not a traditional Monday–Friday daytime job.

Drivers must be comfortable with:

• Variable start times

• Early-morning operations

• A 6-on / 2-off rotation
• Potentially extended workweeks based on operational requirements

DEDICATED REFRIGERATED REGIONAL FREIGHT

The Aurora regional fleet provides dedicated refrigerated grocery freight with a generally scheduled 34-hour weekly reset.

• Dedicated regional operation

• Generally a 34-hour weekly reset
• Home time based on assigned route
• Mountain driving may be required
• Nights, evenings and early mornings may be required

RIFLE, CO – REGIONAL

WESTERN COLORADO | DEDICATED REFRIGERATED FREIGHT

The Rifle fleet provides dedicated regional grocery operations throughout western Colorado and surrounding areas.

• Dedicated refrigerated freight
• Generally a 34-hour weekly reset
• Multiple-stop grocery deliveries
• Mountain and western Colorado driving
• Flexible start times
• Nights, evenings and early mornings
• Weekend availability
• Changing weather and road conditions
• Mountain passes and grades may be encountered
• Winter driving may be required

Drivers considering the Rifle fleet should be comfortable operating a tractor-trailer through mountainous terrain and changing winter conditions.

Must live within 50 miles of ZIP 80011

AURORA REGIONAL

Must live within 100 miles of ZIP 80011

RIFLE REGIONAL

IMPORTANT: The hiring radius determines where a driver must live to qualify for the fleet. It does not represent the maximum distance you may drive. Assigned routes may extend significantly beyond the hiring radius.

SCHEDULE & WORK EXPECTATIONS

This account operates as a 24/7 dedicated grocery operation.

Depending on the assigned fleet, drivers must be prepared to work:

• Nights
• Evenings
• Early mornings
• Weekends
• Holidays when required
• Variable start times
• Multiple delivery stops
• 6 days on / 2 days off for applicable Aurora local operations
• Up to approximately 70 hours per week when required

FREIGHT & DRIVER RESPONSIBILITIES

Drivers transport refrigerated grocery freight for a major retail grocery operation.

Responsibilities may include:

• Safely operating a tractor-trailer
• Operating refrigerated equipment
• Delivering grocery freight to multiple customer locations
• Performing live unloads when required
• Safely navigating city streets, highways and mountain roads
• Completing pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintaining accurate logs and records
• Following DOT regulations and carrier safety procedures
• Communicating professionally with dispatch and customers
• Maintaining on-time delivery performance
• Protecting cargo and equipment

MOUNTAIN & WINTER DRIVING

Certain regional fleets involve mountain and western Colorado driving.

Drivers may encounter:

• Mountain passes
• Steep grades
• Snow and ice
• Winter weather
• Changing road conditions
• High-elevation areas

Mountain-driving experience may be preferred or required depending on the assigned fleet.

Drivers should be comfortable operating a commercial motor vehicle safely in challenging terrain and weather conditions.

CDL-A DRIVER REQUIREMENTS

Qualified applicants must generally meet the following requirements:

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 3 months qualifying tractor-trailer experience
• Safe and responsible driving history
• Ability to meet applicable DOT qualification requirements
• Ability to pass required DOT physical examination
• Ability to pass required drug screening
• Ability to operate refrigerated equipment
• Ability to make multiple delivery stops
• Willingness to perform live unloads when required
• Ability to work nights, evenings and early mornings
• Weekend availability
• Ability to work the required 6-on / 2-off rotation where applicable
• Ability to work up to approximately 70 hours when required
• Reliable attendance and work history
• Professional communication and customer-service skills
• Ability to successfully complete the required carrier/account interview

REGIONAL – AURORA & RIFLE

TRAINING & ONBOARDING

Qualified candidates must successfully complete the carrier's required hiring, onboarding and account qualification process.

Training in Salt Lake City, Utah may be required.
