Southshore Distribution is seeking a qualified, dependable Class A Overnight Truck Driver to join our delivery team in Saint Joseph, MI. In this role, you will be responsible for loading goods from the warehouse into your truck, transporting the load to the client’s location. Our drivers must always drive safely and be professional and courteous when talking with our customers. You will be home almost every night with 1-2 over nights per week!
Responsibilities:
- To be DOT compliant and follow all company safety procedures.
- FMCSA compliant and Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse compliant.
- Ensure that all proper documentation is in order.
- Drive commercial motive equipment. (Class A CDL driver's license.)
- Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Good customer relations.
- Other duties as directed.
Skills/Experience:
- Must pass drivers test.
- Must have all state and federal documents required for driving all related equipment.
- Ability to interact within a team environment.
- Two years' experience preferred but not required.
- Proven ability to operate a 26 foot straight truck.
Pay:
- $28.00 -$31.00 per hour
