- Safely load, transport, deliver, and unload full and empty gas cylinders.
- Follow daily routes and delivery instructions provided by dispatch.
- Complete and document pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Follow all DOT, OSHA, and company safety requirements.
- Complete delivery paperwork accurately and submit documentation at the end of each day.
- Provide professional and dependable service to customers.
- Resolve routine customer questions and escalate concerns when needed.
- Meet delivery schedules and communicate promptly about delays or route issues.
- Safely move cylinders using proper rolling methods, carts, and other equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe company vehicle.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Valid Class B CDL
- Clean commercial driving record with at least three years of commercial driving experience
- HazMat endorsement or willingness and ability to obtain it shortly after hire
- Dependable attendance and consistent punctuality
- Strong commitment to safe driving and material-handling practices
- Ability to follow routes, instructions, and established procedures
- Attention to detail when completing delivery documentation
- Professional communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Compressed gas, welding supply, industrial delivery, or local route experience is a plus
- Frequently lift 50–75 pounds.
- Safely maneuver cylinders weighing more than 100 pounds by rolling them or using appropriate equipment.
- Enter and exit the delivery vehicle repeatedly throughout the day.
- Stand, walk, bend, reach, push, and pull for extended periods.
- Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Work occasional overtime as business needs require.

Welders Supply specializes in distributing welding equipment, gases, and supplies. Our priority is service. If a customer has a need, we keep it in stock. Over $2 million worth of equipment and supplies are in stock at all times, and the entire inventory includes over 250 welding machines and 500,000 pounds of various welding filler metals. Welders Supply operates the only full service gas laboratory within a 200 mile radius. The specialty gas division, where the gases are mixed and the cylinders filled, tests the gas mixtures to be sure they fall within specified tolerances of composition and pressure. The precisely controlled and monitored electronic procedure for gas analysis includes chromatograph, infrared, paramagnetic, chemiluminescence, and gravimetric measuring, and technologically sophisticated computerized record keeping.
