Job Description

At Frontier Cooperative, we believe agriculture is more than a business, it's a way of life. As an agricultural leader serving Nebraska's farming communities, we provide a comprehensive range of grain, agronomy, feed, and energy products and services. But what sets us apart is how we do it: with integrity, with quality, and with a deep commitment to the communities we're proud to call home. We're looking for people who share those values and want to grow with us.

What you'll do:

Transport & delivery

  • Operate tender semi-trucks or straight trucks to transport dry and liquid fertilizer or anhydrous ammonia nurse trailers to producer fields
  • Fasten and secure all loads before transit; ensure product arrives in good condition

Loading & product transfer

  • Prepare vehicles for product loading and assist manually or through company software
  • Connect hoses and operate transfer systems to load chemicals into containers; secure vehicle when transfer is complete
  • Deliver product to AG Equipment Operators in producer fields; connect hoses to applicator machinery and operate pumps to transfer product
  • Clear hose lines upon completion of transfer and secure all hoses to truck

Vehicle inspections & maintenance

  • Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections checking lights, turn signals, tires, lug-nuts, air pressure, horn, wipers, oil, antifreeze, belts, brakes, and fifth wheel coupler
  • Perform or assist with routine maintenance including oil and filter changes, lights, belts, wiper blades, grease fittings, and non-air brake parts
  • Keep vehicles clean inside and out to promote a positive company image

Safety & compliance

  • Follow all company safety standards and comply with OSHA, DOT, state, and federal regulations
  • Renew CDL license and endorsements on time; attend workshops and review technical publications to stay current

Other duties

  • Perform various functions across our warehouse, grain elevator, retail store, flat grain storage, anhydrous ammonia stations, and fertilizer and chemical facilities, as well as assist with general maintenance and repairs of buildings, vehicles, machinery, and equipment.

What we are looking for:

  • Class A or B CDL, or the ability to obtain one within 90 days

  • 2+ years of tractor-trailer or straight truck driving experience

  • No major accidents or violations within the last 24 months

  • Ability to read and interpret work orders, batch loads, gauges, maps, weigh tickets, and delivery tickets

  • Basic math skills including proportions, percentages, and volume calculations

Why join us? Full-time employees receive a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your health, finances, and future.

  • Paycheck for life: Cooperative pension plan, plus 401(k) with traditional and Roth options
  • Comprehensive health coverage: Medical, dental, and vision insurance, supplemental plans, and FSA/HSA spending accounts
  • Paid time off: Vacation and sick leave to rest and recharge
  • Uniform & boot allowances: Annual allowances so you're always equipped and ready
