Sterling Crane USA is hiring a dependable, safety-driven CDL Driver in Elko, NV who is looking for long-term career growth. This is more than a driving position - it's an opportunity to build a career in the crane and heavy lift industry with a clear path to become a Rigger through company-sponsored training and hands-on field experience.

What You'll Do as a CDL Driver

• Safely operate company trucks to transport cranes, counterweights, rigging gear, and support equipment to and from job sites.

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections in compliance with DOT regulations.

• Properly secure loads in accordance with federal and Nevada state regulations.

• Maintain accurate logs and required documentation.

• Work closely with dispatch, operations, and field crews.

• Represent Sterling Crane professionally at mine sites, industrial facilities, and customer locations.

What We're Looking For

• Valid CDL (Class A preferred).

• Clean driving record.

• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.

• Strong commitment to safety.

• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and perform physically demanding work.

• Willingness to travel locally and work overtime as needed.

• Desire to learn and grow within the crane and heavy lift industry.

Compensation

The hourly pay rate is $37.30 USD, as determined by the Union (NV2 - Local 3 - Truck Agreement).

Your Career Path: CDL Driver to Crane Rigger

We provide structured development and hands-on training to help you transition into a Crane Rigger role, including:

• On-the-job rigging training with experienced crew members.

• Training on load securement, signaling, and crane support operations.

• Safety certifications and industry-required training.

• Exposure to crane setup, tear-down, and heavy lift planning.
