CDL Truck Driver

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused CDL Truck Driver to transport goods efficiently and on schedule. The ideal candidate will operate commercial vehicles in compliance with federal, state, and company regulations while maintaining excellent customer service and accurate delivery records.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate commercial trucks safely and responsibly
• Transport freight to designated locations on time
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Maintain accurate logs, delivery paperwork, and fuel records
• Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies
• Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transport
• Communicate with dispatch regarding routes, delays, or issues
• Report vehicle maintenance needs or mechanical problems promptly
• Load and unload freight when required
• Maintain a clean and professional vehicle appearance

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL Class A or B)
• Clean driving record and current DOT medical card
• Ability to lift up to 50–75 pounds as needed
• Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations
• Excellent time management and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELDs)
• Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge
• Strong problem-solving and route-planning abilities

Work Environment

• Long hours sitting and driving
• Exposure to varying weather and road conditions
• Possible overnight or long-haul travel depending on routes
