CEI Managers or Senior Construction Managers with deep TDOT experience

Former or current Resident Engineers / Area Engineers tied closely to TDOT regions

Contractor-side Field Superintendents or Field QC leaders with strong TDOT relationships

Candidates seeking owner-side stability after years on the contractor side

Required Experience

Extensive, hands-on experience working directly with TDOT

Strong understanding of TDOT construction processes, specs, and personnel

Proven leadership over field teams and inspection staff

Highway and bridge construction background required

PE preferred but not mandatory if TDOT credibility is unquestioned

Lead CEI and construction oversight efforts on TDOT roadway and bridge projects

Serve as a senior owner’s-rep interface with TDOT Regional PMs, REs, and inspectors

Oversee Resident Engineers, inspectors, and field staff across multiple projects

Ensure compliance with TDOT specs, standards, documentation, and pay quantities

Provide guidance on constructability, quality, schedule, and risk mitigation

Support change management, claims awareness, and issue resolution

Represent the firm as a trusted TDOT partner, leveraging long-standing relationships
