Our mission statement definitely speaks to what La Clinica de Familia stands for, which is to empower and enrich families, individuals, and communities by providing quality medical, dental, behavioral health and educational service for people of all cultures.ExemptUp to $63,629Job Summary:The Center-Based Manager is responsible for providing overall leadership, operational oversight, and program quality assurance for a designated center or facility. This role ensures that day‑to‑day operations run efficiently, safely, and in alignment with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and strategic goals. The Center-Based Manager supervises staff, manages resources, monitors performance outcomes, and fosters a positive, inclusive, and high‑quality environment for participants, families, and employees.Core Competencies:
  • Bilingual, with Spanish strongly preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to give and receive feedback and facilitate productive, dynamic meetings.
  • Strong diplomacy, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with strong team‑building and collaboration skills.
  • High degree of initiative, adaptability, organization, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and always demonstrate professionalism.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Effective relationship‑building skills with parents, staff, coworkers, and community partners.
  • Ability to foster trust with families and support understanding of sensitive issues or concerns.
  • Skilled in encouraging growth and development in children, parents, and staff using strength‑based, relationship‑focused approaches.
  • Knowledge of infant and toddler development, behavior, and developmentally appropriate guidance that supports facilitation—not control—of behavior.
  • Strong understanding of Early Head Start Standards, relationship‑based practices, and family dynamics.
  • Ability to assess program implementation at sites using observation, data, and evaluation methods to support continuous improvement.
  • Effective use of technology, including Microsoft Office and spreadsheet programs, to manage data and documentation.
  • Strong general office skills, including professional phone etiquette and administrative competency.
  • Ability to maintain a culturally responsive practice and sensitivity to the customs and contexts of the communities served.
  • Ability to ensure safe, nurturing environments that promote healthy development, nutrition, and well‑being for infants and young children for two childcare sites.
  • Proficiency in planning, implementing, and monitoring early learning environments that reflect developmental needs and individual interests.
Job Requirements:
  • Minimum bachelor's degree in early childhood education preferred, or related field.
