- * Process levies, subpoenas, summons, garnishments, restraining notices, and other legal orders affecting deposit accounts or customer funds in accordance with applicable laws, court requirements, and internal procedures.
- * Research, document, and resolve legal processing exceptions, escalating issues when appropriate.
- * Release outgoing wires in accordance with established procedures, authorization limits, and dual-control requirements.
- * Troubleshoot wire-processing issues and serve as a resource for complex exceptions.
- * Provide guidance and operational support to junior team members as needed.
- * Process incoming and outgoing adjustments, including check number corrections, as well as incoming and outgoing collections.
- * Prepare and balance Federal Reserve deposit difference reports and related adjustments.
- * Perform daily and monthly reconciliations independently, research outstanding items, and resolve or escalate exceptions in a timely manner.
- * Manage cash orders, shipments, inventory, and balancing activities.
- * Complete callback functions, including debit card and dormant account maintenance.
- * Prepare and support IOLTA daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.
- * Provide advanced back-up coverage for other Central Operations responsibilities.
- * Serve as a resource for complex issues involving electronic image management, wires, legal processing, and reconciliations.
- * Deliver excellent service to internal and external customers.
- * Complete required training within assigned deadlines.
- * Comply with all organizational policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- * Serve as an escalation point for operational questions, transaction exceptions, and processing issues.
- * Provide training, guidance, and mentoring to junior team members to promote accuracy, consistency, and cross-functional coverage.
- * Support internal audits, external examinations, and compliance reviews by maintaining accurate records, preparing documentation, and responding to information requests.
- * Identify operational risks, process gaps, and control issues and escalate concerns to management as appropriate.
- * Working knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations affecting the financial services industry, including the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), USA PATRIOT Act, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) requirements, Customer Identification Program (CIP), customer privacy requirements, and Community Reinvestment Act (CRA).
- * Advanced operational knowledge of deposit products, payment processing, reconciliations, and legal order processing.
- * Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk-management skills.
- * Ability to work independently, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines in a detail-oriented environment.
- * Effective communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.
- * Ability to support audit, examination, and compliance readiness.
- * High school diploma or equivalent required.
- * Five or more years of financial institution operations experience required.
- * Advanced experience in reconciliations, ACH, legal processing, wire operations, or accounting functions preferred.
