West Janisch Health Care Center is seeking a reliable, organized, and service-driven professional for a multi-functional operations role supporting Central Supply, Staffing Coordination, Transportation, and CNA floor coverage as needed.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, skilled nursing environment and understands that strong operational support directly impacts resident care and staffing success.

Core Responsibilities

Central Supply Management

• Maintain inventory par levels for medical supplies, PPE, and essential items

• Receive, stock, rotate, and track supply usage

• Place and reconcile vendor orders; manage backorders and delivery issues

• Support infection control through proper storage and supply availability

Staffing Coordination

• Build and distribute staff schedules

• Track call-offs and assist with shift coverage

• Communicate staffing updates to nursing leadership

• Assist with timekeeping corrections and agency coordination as directed

Transportation Services

• Safely transport residents to medical appointments

• Complete required vehicle inspections and documentation

• Maintain clean, safe vehicles

• Assist with local pharmacy, lab, or supply runs as needed

CNA Floor Support

• Provide hands-on resident care, including ADLs, vitals, mobility assistance, and documentation

• Assist with call lights, meals, hydration, and restorative care

• Promote resident dignity, comfort, and safety

Qualifications

• Active Texas CNA certification in good standing (required)

• Valid Texas driver’s license with acceptable driving record (required)

• Experience in central supply, healthcare staffing/scheduling, or CNA support preferred

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain active throughout the shift

• Basic computer skills (EMR, scheduling, timekeeping systems)

• Strong organization, communication, and follow-through

• Adaptable, calm under pressure, and team-oriented

Schedule & Compensation

• Full-Time | Primarily 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• Occasional flexibility based on operational needs
