Certified Dance/Fitness Zumba Group Exercise Instructor

It's a great time to join team acac! We are seeking an enthusiastic Dance Fitness/Zumba Instructor to lead high-energy classes in our vibrant studio. The ideal candidate will have a passion for dance, a motivating personality, and experience in creating engaging and effective workouts. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, a passion for fitness, and the ability to create a positive and inclusive class environment.

Requirements

Physical Demands

• Current AFAA or ACE Primary Group Ex certification and/or related specialty certification (Les Mills, Zumba, AEA, CPT…)
• Must be able to successfully demonstrate proper exercise techniques
• Must be able to actively participate in classes
• Must be in excellent physical condition to teach classes
• Must be able to stand, move, walk, and bend for the duration of a shift
• Must have the ability and willingness to work varied shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Required competencies, education, and experience
• Current certification in indoor cycling instruction
• High School Diploma preferred
• Prior experience teaching group exercise classes is highly desired
• Superior customer service skills
• Must have excellent communication skills to work positively with different populations
• Proficient computer skills
• Must be at least 18 years old

• Read, sign, and abide by the policies included in the Team Member Handbook
• Park in team member designated areas
• Club cleanliness is an all-team responsibility; assist whenever necessary in any area of the club to keep club neat and clean
• Attend mandatory Personal Training meetings
• Assist with Service Days, as assigned by Supervisor
• Assist with club programs, special events, or activities, as assigned by Supervisor
• Promptly respond to work-related correspondence
• Exhibit a positive attitude at all times
• Deliver outstanding service to members and guests, following acac's Five * Star principles
