Job Description
Certified Medical Assistant – OBGYN
Location: Tulsa, OK Pay: $17–$20/hour, based on experience Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Position Overview
HireCall is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join a busy OBGYN office in Tulsa. OBGYN experience is preferred, but candidates with strong medical assisting experience are encouraged to apply.
The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented medical office.
Responsibilities
- Room patients and prepare them for appointments
- Take and record patient vital signs
- Administer injections
- Assist physicians during office procedures
- Handle triage phone calls
- Record and update patient histories
- Maintain accurate paper patient charts
- Help maintain efficient patient flow throughout the office
- Provide professional and compassionate patient care
Qualifications & Skills
- Certified Medical Assistant experience required
- Active CMA certification is preferred; relevant experience may be considered
- OBGYN experience preferred
- Ability to multitask in a busy medical office
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service and patient-care skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Comfortable working with paper medical charts
