Keystone Internal Medicine – Waynesboro
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
Work Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday – 40 Hours Weekly
Keystone Health is seeking a full-time CMA to join the team at Keystone Internal Medicine in Waynesboro.
We’re a fast-paced, expanding Community Health Center looking for a compassionate and motivated CMA who is passionate about patient care and improving the wellness of our neighbors.
The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) preferred
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assisting Program required
- Current CPR/BLS certification required
- Prior experience in a medical office setting preferred
- Experience using an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system preferred
Responsibilities
- Room and prepare patients for provider visits
- Obtain and document vital signs, medical history, and patient information
- Answer and return patient phone calls in a timely and professional manner
- Request and manage medical records for new patients
- Track referrals, labs, and diagnoses to ensure timely follow-up care
- Complete medication prior authorizations as needed
- Assist providers with clinical procedures and patient care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR system
- Coordinate with providers and staff to support efficient patient flow
- Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines
- Support a positive, team-oriented work environment
