Certified Medical Assistant III – Full Time (Vera Whole Health)Location: 4933 Evergreen Way, Everett, WA 98203 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm (occasional Saturdays) Pay: $32/hr Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, 13 paid holidays Experience: 3+ years required (primary/urgent care preferred) Certification: MA‑C required Phlebotomy: Certification within 90 days (if applicable)About the RoleVera Whole Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant III to support our primary care clinic. This advanced role includes all MA I/II duties plus leadership responsibilities such as workflow support, compliance audits, outreach performance, and assisting with training and center operations. We’re looking for a strong communicator, problem‑solver, and team‑focused MA who thrives in a busy clinic environment.
How will you make an impact & Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Perform all MA I/II clinical duties: vital signs, point‑of‑care testing, injections, immunizations, phlebotomy, EKGs, specimen processing
Assist providers with diagnostic tests, procedures, and patient education
Manage patient flow and set up exam/procedure rooms using sterile technique
Support front‑office tasks (phones, scheduling, registration) as needed
Document accurately in the EMR and maintain HIPAA, OSHA, and CLIA compliance
Lead care‑center audits, compliance follow‑ups, and quality‑control log approvals
Drive outreach efforts for performance and incentive metrics
Co‑manage staffing schedules and coverage
Participate in Vera committees and help facilitate MA meetings
Identify workflow issues, assist with root‑cause analysis, and help implement solutions
Support patient concerns and escalations as assigned
Travel to other care centers for training or support when needed
Required Qualifications
Certified Medical Assistant (MA‑C)
Graduate of an accredited MA program
Minimum 3 years of MA experience (primary/urgent care preferred)
Phlebotomy certification within 90 days (if required)
CPR/BLS certification and negative TB test within 90 days
Hepatitis B vaccination or immunity
Proficient in MA I, II, and III duties
Strong customer‑service skills and communication abilities
Ability to problem‑solve, multitask, and stay organized in a busy clinic
Team‑oriented, adaptable, and committed to continuous learning
Compensation Range:
$25.30to
$37.95The anticipated base salary range represents the Company's good-faith estimate of the compensation it reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, skills, qualifications, geographic location, internal equity, and business needs.
