Job Description

Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Location: Selinsgrove Pennsylvania 17870

Shift: 2nd Shift: 2:45 PM – 10:30PM Every other weekend and scheduled holidays Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour Scheduled Pay: Bi-Weekly Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, and Short term disability after 90 days

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Responsibilities
- Long-Term Care facility
- Assisting patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility.
- Monitoring patients’ behavior, mood, and physical condition, and reporting changes to the nursing staff or physicians
- Assisting in group therapy sessions, recreational activities, and other therapeutic interventions.
- Assisting in de-escalating situations when patients become agitated or aggressive, often using techniques learned through specialized training
- Keeping detailed records of patient behavior, activities, and changes in condition.
- Working closely with nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to implement care plans and ensure the well-being of patients.
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Requirements:
- Graduated from a Certified Nursing Assistant Program
- Current / Active state certification as a CNA
- 1 year experience working as a CNA
- Experience working in a Assisted Living, Long Term Care Facility, or Behavioral Health facility
