Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Assisted Living
Cedar Ridge Place – St. Louis Park, MN
Cedar Ridge Place is seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our assisted living care team.
This is a hands-on role focused on supporting residents with daily living needs while promoting dignity, comfort, and safety in a calm, resident-centered environment. POSITION SUMMARY
The Certified Nursing Assistant provides direct personal care and support to residents in accordance with individualized care plans and delegated nursing tasks. This role emphasizes respectful, compassionate care while helping residents maintain independence and quality of life.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide hands-on personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility assistance
- Assist residents with meals, transfers, and daily routines
- Encourage resident engagement and social interaction
- Observe, document, and report changes in resident condition
- Follow individualized care plans and delegated nursing tasks
- Maintain resident safety, privacy, and dignity at all times
- Communicate effectively with nursing staff and team members
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- Active CNA certification in the state of Minnesota
- Ability to provide compassionate, resident-centered care
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to complete electronic documentation
- Ability to meet physical demands of the role, including lifting and transfers
Preferred:
- Experience in assisted living, senior living, or long-term care
- Experience working with residents with memory loss or cognitive impairment
