- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting*
- Provide mobility assistance, including transfers and ambulation support*
- Monitor and record vital signs, intake/output, and report changes in condition*
- Support nursing staff with clinical tasks and patient care needs*
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for residents*
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while promoting dignity and respect*
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members*
- Ensure compliance with facility policies and state and federal healthcare regulations
- Active Iowa Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required*
- High school diploma or GED required*
- Current BLS certification *
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening*
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills*
- Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred but not required
- Starting pay at $22/hour*
- Full-time, stable hours with 4x8 or 5x8 schedule flexibility*
- Evening shift: 2:00 PM 10:00 PM*
- Every other weekend requirement*
