Position Summary:
Provides direct personal care and assistance with activities of daily living to residents under nurse supervision.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with bathing, dressing, feeding and mobility.
- Observe and report changes in residents' condition.
- Ensure a clean and safe environment for residents.
- Follow infection control and safety procedures.
- Support residents' emotional and social well-being.
Qualifications and Licensing Requirements:
- Active Iowa CNA certification required.
- Compassionate and patient-focused demeanor.
- Ability to work flexible shifts.
Physical/Environmental Requirements:
Frequent standing, walking, bending and lifting up to 50 lbs. Exposure to healthcare environments and infection control standards
