Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Job Overview:
- Nursing - Long Term Care facility providing long-term medical care or persons who also require treatment/supervision of mental illnessThe facility delivers excellent care for those with long-term healthcare needs, and offers caregivers the opportunity to serve those who need it most at Western State Nursing
- Assist residents in personal hygiene such as bathing, dental, hair, and nail care
- Observe and report skin breakdown
- Assist residents with daily activities
- Collect specimens for lab analysis
- Situate bedfast residents in correct and comfortable positions
- Aid residents in preparation for activities and programs
- Record data as directed
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Job Qualifications:
Graduate of a Medicaid approved nursing assistant program and hold a certificate of completion.
Kentucky State Registered Nurse Aide
- Ability to pass facility requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
