CNA Responsibilities:As a CNA in a skilled nursing facility, you’ll play a vital role in patient care by:
  • Providing direct patient care and daily assistance with bathing, grooming, feeding, mobility, and hygiene
  • Taking and recording vital signs accurately
  • Assisting RNs and LPNs with clinical duties and resident care
  • Promoting a safe, clean, and supportive environment for residents
  • Ensuring proper documentation and communication with the healthcare team
CNA Requirements:
  • Current Vermont CNA license (Certified Nursing Assistant license required)
  • BLS Certification from the American Heart Association
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of recent experience as a CNA, preferably in skilled nursing or long-term care
  • Compassion, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills
