The Position: Certified Nursing Assistant ~ Medical/Surgical Unit
Employment Status: Full-time
Hours per two-week pay-period: 72 hours
Essential Job Functions:
- Ensure wellbeing of patients by performing tasks that help with daily living activities.
- Collaborate closely with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers in meeting patients psychosocial and physical needs.
- Document changes in patients’ condition and report these observations to appropriate medical staff.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school graduate or equivalency
- Completion of minimum 75-hour CNA training coarse
Certifications and Licenses:
- Hold current CNA Licensure or obtain licensure within 6 months of employment.
- Current CPR Certification
Position Summary:
Sidney Health Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our I CARE team in the Acute Care setting on our Medical/Surgical Unit. Essential duties of the position include ensuring wellbeing of patients by performing tasks that help with daily living activities, collaborating closely with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers in meeting patients' psychosocial and physical needs, and documenting changes in patients’ condition and report these observations to appropriate medical staff.
