Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Veterans/Members Care
Location: ArizonaSchedule: Full-Time / Part-Time (various shifts available)
About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide high-quality, hands-on care to Veterans/Members in a supportive healthcare environment. This role is essential in promoting comfort, dignity, safety, and quality of life while working closely with licensed nursing staff.

What You’ll Do
As a CNA, you will support daily care needs while assisting clinical staff with essential services, including:
Assist Veterans/Members with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as transfers, ambulation, bathing, dressing, toileting, eating, and personal hygiene
Support simple therapeutic exercises to maintain strength, mobility, and flexibility
Assist nursing staff with basic medical procedures including treatments, post-surgical care, suppositories, enemas, and post-mortem care
Monitor and document physical and mental status, including vital signs, intake/output, and specimen collection
Accurately complete medical records, worksheets, and basic reports
Assist with dining services, including transporting residents, explaining menu options, and providing mealtime assistance
Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment, including changing linens and bedding
Respond promptly to patient requests in accordance with the Resident Bill of Rights
Assist in emergency situations following established policies and procedures
Transport Veterans/Members to appointments and assist with light clerical duties as needed
Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) and Arizona Management System (AMS) initiatives, including huddles, problem-solving, and standardized work practices
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications:
Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the State of Arizona
Knowledge of para-professional nursing principles and patient care techniques
Ability to safely use and maintain basic medical equipment
Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
Ability to work collaboratively with nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams
Preferred Skills & Abilities:
Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or Veteran care settings
Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
Commitment to maintaining a safe, therapeutic, and hygienic care environment
Willingness to learn and apply Arizona Management System (AMS) practices
