Job Description
Claiborne Senior Living, LLC in Hattiesburg, Mississippi is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our healthcare team on a full-time, hourly basis. As a CNA, you will provide direct care and support to our senior residents, assisting them with daily living activities and maintaining their overall physical and emotional well-being. This is an individual contributor role, working closely with our nursing staff to deliver high-quality care to our residents.

Responsibilities:- Assisting residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and toileting- Monitoring and recording resident vital signs and reporting any changes to the nursing staff- Administering medications as directed by the nursing staff- Assisting with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring proper nutrition and hydration- Providing emotional support and companionship to residents- Maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents- Assisting with simple medical procedures, such as wound care and catheterization- Communicating effectively with residents, family members, and other healthcare team members- Adhering to all company policies, procedures, and safety standardsRequirements:- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Mississippi- High school diploma or equivalent- Previous experience in a healthcare or senior living setting preferred- Must have a compassionate and caring demeanor- Ability to work as a team member and communicate effectively with others- Basic knowledge of medical terminology- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening- Physical ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds and assist residents with mobilityEEOC Statement:Claiborne Senior Living, LLC is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace.
