Fargo Elim Assisted Living, a Cassia community, is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)/ Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our team! We are seeking an individual who excels at connecting with residents & patients and is a team player that is also comfortable working independently.Position Type: Full-Time, benefits eligible position, working a varied schedule including every other weekend and holidays.Shift Available:Nights:Week 1 Wednesday & Thursday (12 Hours)Week 2 Mondays & Fridays (12 Hours), Saturday & Sundays (8 Hours)Location: 3540 S University Dr, Fargo, ND 58104CNA/ CMA Responsibilities:
- Prepare and administer medications.
- Help each resident reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence while assisting them with personal care and daily living activities.
- Review and follow a written care plan.
- Measure and record vital signs including pulse, temperature, and blood pressure on new computerized software.
- Assist with various resident cares such as answering light calls and helping residents to the bathroom.
- Observe resident behavior and report any changes in condition or behavior to supervisor.
- Perform other duties as requested.
- Current ND Nursing Assistant certification required.
- Must hold current CMA certification in North Dakota.
- Strong communication skills to interact with residents and staff.
- Must be able to stand for length of 8-hour shift.
- Team player who has a passion for elder care and adapts quickly to changing situations.
